BRANDYWINE, Md. – Tim Connors, merchandise manager at Regency Furniture, passed away on Jan. 18. He was 66.
Connors was a furniture industry and retail veteran, beginning his career at Levitz in 1983. Prior to joining Regency, he worked on the manufacturing side with European furniture resource Collezione before returning to retail with Marlowe Furniture and later Regency.
“Tim never failed to make time for anyone. His door was always open. He’d welcome you in, and you’d leave with a smile,” said Mark Stuart, president of Regency Furniture. “Tim is survived by his loving family and hundreds if not thousands in the industry. We will all miss him greatly.”
Connors is survived by his wife Shawn, a daughter and son, and a brother and sister. In lieu of services donations may be made in Tim’s name to the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
