CORSICANA, Texas — Bedding industry veteran Carroll Edwin Moran died Dec. 11 at age 56.
Moran was born Sept. 22, 1964, in Jacksonville, Ark., to Harold and Gail Moran. He moved with his parents to Corsicana in 1971, where his parents founded Corsicana Bedding. Later under Moran’s leadership, Corsicana Bedding became one of the most successful manufacturers in the country.
He was preceded in death by his father and his sister-in-law, Sharon Thomas.
Moran is survived by his wife, Holly; his mother; two daughters; four grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Dec. 17, at Northside Baptist Church in Corsicana. A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m., Dec. 18, at the church with burial following at New Chatfield Cemetery, Chatfield, Texas.
